MISMFF 2022, 06: Sweat, anxiety, sleepless nights and dedicated hard work
A film festival cannot be held without a team of dedicated organisers and workers. Many of them spend sleepless nights, are at a high level of anxiety months before the event and spend sleepless nights, once the inauguration date approaches. This is true of the Mestia International Short & Mountain Film Festival (MISMFF) too. And if the team is relatively small, as is the case at MISMFF, the responsibilities are bigger. I have had occasion to interact with only one member of the team, Salome ‘Sal’ Chokheli, and she left no stone unturned in providing me all the required information, co-ordinating my efforts in getting a visa for Georgia, and much more. Let us give due credit to the behind the scenes woman and men, who made this festival possible.

Besides, he is also a Director of the People's and Folklore Theatre, named after Leo Pilpani, and a Director of Mestia Culture and Art Center, which is the co-organiser of MISMFF. He lives in Mestia.
