The 22nd New York Jewish Film Festival 2013 (NYJFF 2013) Opening Night New York City Premiere of A.K.A. DOC POMUS documentary directed by Peter Miller and Will Hechter commenced Wednesday, January 9, at the Walter Reade Theater. Attendees at the two sold out premiere screenings included actress Celia Weston, the Knot Sisters singer Sue Yellin, and celebrity guests. A special Q&A session after the first and second screenings immediately followed with editor Amy Linton, director Peter Miller, and producer Sharyn Felder (Doc’s daughter) moderated by independent curator Rachel Chanoff and associate curator/director, Aviva Weintraub, New York Jewish Film Festival.
