The 13th Haapsalu Horror & Fantasy Film Festival has announced their first film GHOST STORIES (2017) which has already been hailed as the best British horror in recent years.
In GHOST STORIES, a skeptical professor Philip Goodman investigates three strange cases of ghost sightings that take him on a bone-chilling journey. Based on a popular play, the film was directed by Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson. Starring Andy Newman with a memorable role from Martin Freeman (Martin Freeman, THE HOBBIT) .
GHOST STORIES premiered last year at the London Film Festival, with Hollywood Reporter calling it "a witty and well-crafted love letter to old-school horror tropes."
The festival's artistic director Maria Reinup says the film is a perfect fit for the 13th edition of HÕFF: "The film has an intense atmosphere that promises the audience not only proper scares and an exciting variety of three short segments, but also great performances from the actors."

The Baltic premiere of GHOST STORIES will be held in Haapsalu shortly after it hits cinemas all over United Kingdom. The film will be screened with Estonian and Russian subtitles.
Haapsalu Horror & Fantasy Film Festival is the biggest genre film festival in the Baltics with up to 30 feature films and special events.
